We are a diverse group that includes network engineering, sales, finance, legal and programming backgrounds. Most of us have been designing and deploying networks for all of our careers. We are also all crypto enthusiasts who strongly believe that blockchain technology will be the next disruptive force in the industry. We are all excited to work on a project that follows our passions.
Nathan Helfrey
As one of the founders of IQToken, Nate brings over 20 years of technical engineering experience. After graduation from Diablo Valley Community College with a focus in Computer Network Technology, Nate began his career as a networking engineer focused on implement complex secure networks for large organizations. Over the course of his career, Nate has developed strong skills and/or certifications in Cisco, F5, Palo Alto Networks, Network Security, Microsoft Azure, Powershell, and Python. Nate is Passionate about networks, network automation, cloud computing and cryptocurrencies. These passions are the genesis of what became IQToken.
Nate and his wife Karen were married in 2004 and have lived in Portland, Oregon for 10 years. Outside of his professional passions, Nate enjoys all the Pacific Northwest has to offer including frequent adventures at the beautiful Oregon Coast and some of the finest cuisine in the country.
Heng Him
Founding IQToken has allowed Heng to leverage over 20 years of professional experience. With his Networking, Sales and entrepreneurial background Heng is combining his technical and business experience to launch a company that embodies his professional passions: Networking, Cloud Computing, BlockChain and Crypto Currency.
Heng migrated to the United States in 1981, after escaping the Khmer Rouge genocide. Once in the US, Heng attended school and focused on obtaining his citizenship. Heng served in the US Army and served his country honorably.
Heng and his wife Natalie have built their life in Salem, Oregon together. They have a large family with 6 children ranging from Ages 2 to 20. Outside of his professional endeavors, Heng enjoys being involved in his children activities. He has coached youth lacrosse to high school lacrosse for his 2 boys and is involved in many non-profit charities.

Brian Pixton
As an Oregon native, Brian Pixton has spent his entire life in and around the Northwest. After graduating from Aloha Hi School, Brian attended Portland State University where he earned degrees in Business Administration, Marketing and Finance. Upon earning his degree, he was recruited by IBM and joined Big Blue as a Storage Sales Specialist. For the first 12 Months, he participated in IBM’s global sales school then focused on selling IBM storage solutions in the pacific northwest and California. As a first year seller at IBM, Brian earned IBM “Rookie of the year”. After 5 years with IBM, he joined MSI Systems Integrators. At the time, MSI was a mid-west based company with no presence in the western US. Brian built MSI’s business in Oregon and Washington from the ground up by recruiting and hiring talented sales people and ultimately growing revenues in excess of $30M in 3 years. In 2009 MSI was acquired by Sirius Computer Solutions and Brian assumed leadership of the combined organizations in Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii, growing the business to near $100M in his seven years leading the team. Outside of his professional life, Brian is married to his hi-school sweetheart Sarajane Pixton and together they have four children. Grace (14), Jacob (12), Elijah (8) and Mercy (4). With an avid appreciation of the outdoors, he enjoys fly fishing, skiing and hiking. However, above everything, Brian loves spending time with his family.
Dominic Meduri
Dominic Meduri lives in Salem, Oregon with his wife and 2 daughters. He studied business at Oregon State University and Western Oregon University where he got his bachelors degree in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship. He started using his degree in 2005 when he started Meduri World Delights, a specialty dried fruit mail order catalog, with his father. After college, Dominic focused his time on developing Meduri World Delights and learning the family business. In January 2015 Joe Meduri retired from their family business, Meduri Farms, and Dominic took over the role of President. Meduri Farms is a specialty dried fruit manufacturer that purchase and sells it products all over the world and employs 450 people year round. In three years he has focused on developing some of the best leaders in the industry and increased Meduri’s export business by 100%. He travels internationally multiple times a year developing relationships all over the world in support of their mission; committed to be the premier infused dried fruit producer in the world. He enjoys traveling and learning from everyone he meets because he believes that everyone one you meet is a new opportunity to grow as a person and leader. Staying current with market trends are important for his family’s business to be successful, that is why it’s a natural fit for him to be involved with IQToken.

Gary Trepte
Born and raised in Hawaii, Gary came to Oregon to attend the University of Portland where he earned degrees in Accounting and Finance. After earning his degrees, Gary began his career in the banking industry working in the retail branch system. After a few years, he moved over to commercial banking where he eventually became a commercial lending officer. In 2001, Gary left the banking industry to become the Controller for a network engineering company that provided data center and co-location services to commercial customers. Gary’s accounting experience also includes Controller and CFO roles in the mortgage and manufacturing industries. Outside of his professional life, Gary has been married to his wife Christa for 23 years and they have one child together. In addition to spending time with family, Gary’s current interests include playing golf and personal fitness.
Neville Latchman – Network Architect
Neville Latchman, CCDE # 2016::48, is an architect in internetworking infrastructure, specializing in building Enterprise and Service Provider (SP)networks. He has been working within diverse network environments comprising multi-vendor and Cisco infrastructure technologies for more than 30 years. His focus is on large-scale network designs, control plane protocols, programable networks and research into innovative areas of data communication including campus LAN, WAN, data center and SP networks.
As a recognized expert in the industry, he has been working on large-scale, complex local-area/wide-area network designs within both an enterprise and SP environment. Neville’s focus has been on architectural designs and implementations involving 1,000 nodes to more than 10,000 nodes, leveraging network communications technologies to provide transport, encryption/security, network segmentation/segregation leveraging Layer-2, Layer-3 and IP transports such as MPLS/Ethernet. Other areas of focus include Advanced Technologies, high availability (HA) and convergence, Quality of Service (QoS), Quality of Experience (QoE), Performance Routing (PfR), and network function virtualization.
Neville is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Communications Society (ComSoc), Computer Society, North America Network Operators Group (NANOG) and Orange County Cisco Users Group (OCCiscoUG). He holds both a B. Comm. and M.B.A. from the Oxford Brookes University (UK). He is based out of Orange County, in Southern California where he enjoys time with his wife and son at local beaches, global travel, experiencing cultural diversity and great food.

Milan Castillo – Legal Council
Milan focuses his practice in the areas of business law, civil litigation, family law, and criminal defense.
Milan’s professional experience comes from extensive work and education in the litigation and trial work in multiple areas of law. He is also a member of several groups and organizations which emphasize professional development and continued education in the practice of law. He continues to engage in continuing legal education and research to ensure he is on the cutting edge of the law in these areas.
In his spare time, Milan enjoys cycling, boating, skiing, golfing, and any activity with his family.
